Kinderdijk Windmill - #132 - Original Watercolor Painting

This is one of the very impressive windmills of Kinderdijk. The village of Kinderkijk in the Netherlands is situated in a polder, an area of low-lying land that is easily flooded. In the 18th century windmills were built to drain the polder, and today these are a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

  1. Love the paintings, especially the more abstract ones. Unfortunately I've got no spare pennies to buy one,
but I'm sure you'll have no problem, they're awesome.

  2. Thanks! These days, food and shelter have to come before art for many folks. Happily, I paint mainly for the pleasure, not for the money.
