Midlands Farm - #121 - Original Watercolor Painting

In the English midlands, there are many farms with groups of buildings like these. They make a pretty sight when the sun is going down.

Fixing a Watercolor Painting - Slideshow

Here's a slideshow that shows how I fixed some major problems in a watercolor painting.  If you use this technique on your own paintings, make sure you only use Mr. Clean Original Magic Eraser - the other types contain chemicals that may harm your painting.  Of course, this technique is even better for small corrections.

Rural Free Delivery - #118 - Original Watercolor Painting

Rural Free Delivery - free rural mail delivery - became an official service over 100 years ago. It is probably the largest and most expensive project ever instituted by the U.S. Postal Service. This painting shows a mailbox lineup along a dirt road near a farm in Arkansas.

Into the Storm - #117 - Original Watercolor Painting

Although I'm not much of a sailor myself, I've always been fascinated by the folks who race boats in the ocean. Painting scenes like this is probably as close as I'll get to blue water racing.
