Porta Nigra - #110 - Original Watercolor Painting

Trier, on the Mosel river, is the oldest city in Germany. Porta Nigra is the remnant of its Roman city gate, built before 200 AD. It has its present name due to the darkened color of its sandstone. It opens upon a large pedestrian area in the center of Trier. The day I was there it was dreary and rainy.

If you'd like to purchase this 11" x 7.5" original watercolor painting for $100 including shipping within the United States, you can do it securely on my website www.weeklywatercolor.com.  There are additional paintings for sale there, and my larger paintings are available on my other website www.jimoberst.com.  Or you can contact me directly at jim@jimoberst.com.
