One type of vacation we love is taking a river cruise in Europe. In 2008 we sailed on the Rhine, and one of our stops was Bonn, Germany. We found it a delightful city, and particularly enjoyed window shopping in the pedestrian areas. This painting is of one of those areas we visited. Not too long ago, the only landscapes I painted were rural scenes, but I now greatly enjoy painting urban landscapes as well.
